A BABY is found in a garbage bag at the San Fernando General Hospital on Monday.
Reports are that the cries of the baby were heard by someone in the corridor of the hospital.
The incident was confirmed by officials of the South West Regional Health Authority.
Sources said the baby was doing well and was now under the care of medical staff at the hospital.
There was a note stating that the mother of the child was not in a position of take care of the baby.
