MEMBERS of the public wanting to use washrooms at the Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) facility in Port-of-Spain have to pay $2.
PTSC in a public notice on social media on Tuesday posted that the fee will come into effect from August 15.
PTSC stated, “This is an effort to improve the PTSC’s overall customer service experience as we plan to upgrade our facilities to meet the daily needs of our commuters.”
The Corporation added that it remained committed to serving its commuters by improving customer service by implementing an increased maintenance schedule.
Several who commented on the decision commended the PTSC for making it but also said they expect the washrooms will be kept up to standard – clean and supplied with soap and toilet paper during operating hours.
