AN adverse weather alert that was issued for Sunday into Monday has been discontinued early.
In a 3.29 pm update, the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) stated: “The most impactful weather has dissipated and settled conditions are present in most areas. Cloudy conditions will however persist into the night-time with light to moderate showers and/or the odd thunderstorm possible this afternoon and overnight.”
There have been reports of flooding all over Trinidad with even parts of the Solomon Hochoy Highway in the vicinity of the Claxton Bay Fly over covered with water.
In addition, persons are advised to be alert and continue to monitor weather conditions and updates from official sources via www.metoffice.gov.tt and www.odpm.gov.tt.
