A 14-YEAR-OLD Form Three pupil was allegedly caught with marijuana on the compound of a school in south Trinidad.
The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) in a press release on Wednesday stated that the boy is expected to be charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking. 
According to police reports, at 9.50 am on Tuesday, a precepted estate constable attached to the secondary school was patrolling the compound when she observed a male pupil acting in a suspicious manner.
The estate constable subsequently questioned the individual who allegedly handed over a grinder and a quantity of marijuana.
A report was made to police and officers of the Gasparillo Police Station who responded took the boy to seek medical treatment.
He was subsequently taken to the Juvenile Booking Centre where he was further interviewed.
The seized narcotics weighed 2.6 grammes.
Investigations are ongoing.
