THREE women and two men have succumbed to Covid-19 on Saturday.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1,110) reported 315 new positive cases.
The ministry also stated that 159,798 boosters have been administered while 50.9% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.
The five deaths were of three elderly women and two elderly men.
All had multiple comorbidities such as heart disease, cardiovascular disease and cancer.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 15, 292 or 81.0%, while 3, 576 or 19.0% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021, to June 1, 2022.

February: 224 deaths, 16, 218 cases
March: 122 deaths, 10,096 cases
April: 75 deaths, 9,622 cases
May: 88 deaths, 13,717 cases
June 1: 2 deaths, 206 cases;
June 2: 3 deaths, 397 cases;
June 3: 5 deaths, 254 cases;
June 4: 5 deaths, 315 cases.
