TWO more Covid-19 deaths are reported on Friday in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1039) on Friday reported 341 new positive cases.
The ministry also stated that 144,274 boosters have been administered while 50.6% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.
The two deaths included:
- 1 middle-aged woman; and
- 1 middle-aged man.
All two persons had multiple comorbidities which included diabetes, hypertension, renal disease, autoimmune and endocrine disorder.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 14,154 or 82.4%, while 3,014 or 17.6% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021 to March 16, 2022.
