FOUR out of five inmates who escaped from the Golden Grove Prison on Sunday have been recaptured.
The five men were missing from Dormitory #4 of the prison on Sunday around 10.30 pm, where a galvanize in the roof had been raised.
Kevin Jagdeo was the first to be held hours after the escape, while Thoen Thomas was captured around 4.30 pm on Monday in the Champ Fleurs district.
This followed the capture of both Kurien Douglas and Shaquille Drayton from an anonymous tip.
Reports stated the inmates were seen walking along the Eastern Main Road, in the Tacarigua around 7.40 pm, on Monday.
Upon information, officers of the Emergency Response Patrol, the Road Policing Task Force, the North-Central Task Force, the Northern Division Task Force and the Air Support Unit, proceeded to the location where the men were held following an extensive search of the area, a release from the TTPS stated.
However, Anthony Seepersad, aka Rajesh\Rakesh Sandookee, 29, of Penco Street, Chaguanas is still at large. He has been charged with larceny motor vehicle.
