9 More Covid-19 Deaths

NINE more people have died from Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.

The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1012) on Saturday reported 432 new positive cases.

Additionally, the hospitalisation number has dropped to below 300.

The ministry also stated that 134, 873 boosters have been administered while 50.2% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.

Active cases: 21,596

Deaths: 3,617

Total deaths by vaccination status as at February 25, 2022: 3,365 (not fully vaccinated), 243 (fully vaccinated), 390 prior to the vaccination programme.

Patients in hospital: 296

Total persons fully vaccinated: 702,682

Total persons not fully vaccinated: 697,318

Boosters administered: 134, 873

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 13,177 or 83.2%, while 2,663 or 16.8% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021, to February 25, 2022.
