A nine-year-old girl has died in a fire at Beetham Gardens today.
Fire officers responded to a fire at Sixth Street, Second Avenue, just before 2 pm.
They attempted to extinguish the fire of the house.
After the blaze was under control, the girl, who relatives said had mental issues, was missing.
Her charred remains were found inside the house where five people lived.
Investigators were still unclear as to the cause of the fire.
