TELECOMMUNICATION service provider Digicel is experiencing disruptions in its service in several parts of the country.
In a public advisory posted on Digicel’s Facebook page, Digicel stated, “We are aware that some areas are experiencing disruptions with their Digicel+ service. We are currently working to have this matter resolved as soon as possible and will advise when service has been fully restored. We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.”
Facebook users stated that areas such as Macoya, Princes Town, Chaguanas, San Juan and Diego Martin were affected with one person posting that there was no service for six hours. Others complained that they could not get their online classes completed.
Digicel continued to assure customers that the problem was being rectified.
