A 36-YEAR-OLD man from Sangre Grande was shot and killed on Tuesday night.
Khalid Quinn Clarke, of Lance Lane, Madhoosingh Drive, Ojoe Road, Sangre Grande was allegedly shot by a group of men.
Police reported that around 10.15 pm, officers at the Sangre Grande Police Station received information about a shooting at Madhoosingh Drive.
On arrival, Clarke’s girlfriend showed the officers to an area and reported that her boyfriend, was shot by a group of men. The officers saw a quantity of spent shells on the roadway along Lance Lane.
Before the arrival of the police, Clarke was taken to hospital by other neighbours and was pronounced dead on arrival.
The scene was visited by acting Sgt Charles and a team from Homicide Bureau Region 2 Office. CSI officers PC Ngui and WPC Marcellin processed the scene. Enquiries are continuing by homicide detectives.
