LICENSING Offices will be closed from Christmas Eve until January 2, 2022.
This is in line with the recent announcement by Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley that all non-essential public servants will be home during this period.
A release on Thursday from the Ministry of Works and Transport stated that all Licensing Offices will be closed from December 24, 2021 to January 02, 2022.
The release stated that people with existing appointments during this period are required to reschedule their appointment via the online scheduling portal –https://licensingappointment.mowt.gov.tt utilising a date after January 2, 2022.
It stated that the public should utilise all available time slots for Licensing Offices across Trinidad and Tobago if your preferred location is unavailable.
The ministry noted that the validity of driver’s permits, taxi driver’s license, badge, certificate, or other documents issued by the Licensing Division, have been extended until January 31, 2022, or such later date as the Minister of Works and Transport may specify.
