A TEENAGED girl is among 25 people to succumb to Covid-19 on Friday.
This was revealed in the latest update (#934) of the Ministry of Health.
It means that 203 people have died due to Covid-19 in the first ten days of December.
It also revealed 898 new cases, the second-highest number since the pandemic started, taken from samples during the period December 7 to 9.
On December 3, the ministry reported 984 new cases. And on December 9, 881 new Covid-19 cases were reported.
The people who passed away included:
- 10 elderly men;
- 4 elderly women;
- 5 middle-aged men;
- 5 middle-aged women; and
- 1 teenage girl.
The ministry reported six of the people who passed had no known comorbidity.
