RESIDENTS in some parts of Tobago experienced heavy rains and strong winds as a result of the passage of a tropical wave on Friday.
The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) issued an adverse weather alert that is expected to end at 6pm today.
There were reports of flooding in Parlatuvier, Roxborough and on Shirvan Road and Turtle Bay.
The Met Office reminded the public that October was considered to be the wettest month.
It also noted that during October to December 2021 the Inter-tropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) was likely to dominate weather conditions.
