SUNNY Bling has apologised to the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (TTEC).
In a Facebook post, he said he regretted his behaviour in a video when he chastised a TTEC contractor for entering his premises to disconnect him for an unpaid bill.
Bling, whose real name is Kerron Sealey, said, “My approach to the situation was wrong and uncalled for.”
He said he was just trying to understand the procedures regarding TTEC entering someone’s premises to disconnect them.
Bling said he recorded the incident as other people questioned the legality of TTEC entering premises given the current crime situation in the country.
TTEC had responded to Bling saying that under the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission Act, Chapter 54:70, the commission is authorised to enter an individual’s premises to carry out its duties.
