A total of 197,705 first doses of Covid-19 vaccines were administered by all five regional health authorities inclusive of the various ministries and private sector.
This was revealed by Minster of Health Terrence Deyalsingh at press conference at the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann’s on Saturday
The breakdown of the vaccination distribution:

Deyalsingh said that the five RHA’s and state agencies have already started their second doses while the other agencies will begin shortly.
He said, “The goal based on the number of vaccines we have currently is to have 188,900 persons fully vaccinated by July 31.”
Deyalsingh said “The total number of people vaccinated with their first dose are 197,705.”
He said “We are not stopping. We are continuing but it may continue at a slower pace because of vaccine availability, and then we have to ringfence doses for your second dose.”
He stated that 68, 944 received their second dose, but they will be considered fully vaccinated two-weeks after receiving their second dose.
