ATTORNEY General Faris Al-Rawi is promising the “mother of all Carnivals” in 2022.
He made the comment on Twitter in Faris in the Space on Wednesday.
Al-Rawi said a “serious vaccine train” was headed to Trinidad and Tobago as the Government has been in talks with COVAX, Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson and AstraZeneca.
He said artistes should be looking forward to after the pandemic since the Government has plans in place.
Al-Rawi said, “Next Carnival is going to be the mother of all Carnivals. Good days are ahead of us, and I’m very hopeful about it.”
He called on the population “to hold on a bit longer.”
Al-Rawi said, “We still have to hold on.
“We have to make sure to use the State of Emergency to crush the pandemic back to where we were.”
He said Soca artistes would be given priority to travel abroad to take part in events.
