NINE more people have died due to Covid-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
This was reported in the Ministry of Health update (#740) on Sunday.
Three of those who succumbed to the virus did not have any pre-existing conditions.
The deaths include:
- four elderly men, one elderly woman and a middle aged man with comorbidities;
- one elderly male, one middle aged man and one middle-aged female without comorbidties.
The release also reported 637 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours but taken from samples during the period May 21 to May 29.
The death toll was now 479.
