XTRA Foods Supermarket at Grand Bazaar has been closed on Tuesday after two employees tested positive for Covid-19.
In an advisory, the supermarket stated that all employees at that branch have been placed in quarantine and all employees identified as contacts have been requested to self-quarantine at their homes.
The closure was done to facilitate full and complete sanitization and is expected to re-open on Wednesday.
Xtra Foods stated, “The safety of our customers and staff remains our number one priority and we thank you for your continued loyalty and trust in our stores. Our unity is out strength as we continue to fight this dangerous pandemic together.”
