THREE men who stole car speakers and a car battery were arrested in Longdenville.
The items have been recovered by police officers of the Central Division police reported on Friday.
Police stated that on Wednesday, a man reported to police that around 8pm, he parked and secured his white Toyota Corolla motor vehicle along Todd’s Road, in the Longdenville district and went away.
He said when he returned around 5am, on Thursday, he observed a number of car speakers and a car battery missing from the vehicle.
An investigation was launched into the incident by officers of the Longdenville Police Post and the Central Division’s Gang Unit. The stolen items were subsequently recovered and three men, one from Cashew Gardens and two from Longdenville, were arrested in connection with the incident.
