CALIFORNIA – A gunman has killed three people and wounded at least 15 others in a shooting at a food festival in California on Sunday.
And according to the US tracking website Gun Violence Archive, this was the 246th mass shooting in the US for 2019.
The gunman was shot dead by police. Investigators said a second suspect may still be at large.
The Gilroy Garlic Festival was the scene of the incident where the suspect had entered by cutting a hole in the perimeter fence, said Gilroy Chief of Police Scot Smitee.
Videos posted on social media showed people running away from the festival, located 48km south of San Jose.
