SAN FERNANDO – Criminals have robbed a pregnant woman of her vehicle on Saturday in the carpark of the popular C3 Centre mall in Corinth, San Fernando.
Police said the incident took place in the basement carpark and they have CCTV footage to help with the investigation.
The C3 Centre management expressed sympathy with the victim and said it was cooperating with the police.
It posted on its Facebook page the following message:
“This afternoon, there was a robbery at one of C3 Centre’s carparks. Our security personnel responded and our CCTV footage was promptly shared with the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS).
“The current crime situation is a national issue and this incident is indeed very unfortunate. We empathise with the victim and have been assured by the TTPS that they are exercising their best efforts to capture these perpetrators within the shortest possible time frame.
“C3 Centre remains committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all.”
