A 42-year-old man is the ninth murder victim in Tobago for the year.
According to reports, Anthony Maynard, also called Seeba, was killed when he was with a group of friends around 9.15 pm on Wednesday.
Three other people suffered injuries when a white station wagon pulled up and two armed men alighted and opened fire.
Police said Justin Black, 22, Ordell Melville, 27, and Timothy Johnson, 28, also were wounded and taken to the Scarborough General Hospital.
Officers from the Homicide Bureau are investigating.
Last week another Plymouth resident Nikesha Sandy was murdered.
