SINCE the Covid-19 pandemic started in Trinidad and Tobago last year just over 90,000 people have tested positive for the coronavirus.
This was revealed in the latest update by the Ministry of Health (#951) which also reported 175 new cases taken from samples during the period December 23 to 26.
There are more than 16,700 active cases with 15,900 of those in home isolation. There have been 2,793 deaths recorded due to Covid-19.
T&T recorded its first Covid-19 case on March 12, 2020, and is currently in its third wave of the pandemic.
