NINE more people have died due to Covid-19 on Sunday in Trinidad and Tobago.
The deaths include a 62-year-old woman in Tobago with comorbidities.
The Ministry of Health reported 356 new cases taken from samples during the period May 12 to May 15.
The nine deaths include:
- Three elderly males with comorbidities;
- One middle-aged male with comorbidities;
- One elderly female with comorbidities;
- One middle-aged female with comorbidities;
- Two middle-aged males without comorbidities; and
- One middle-aged female without comorbidities.
The total number of deaths in T&T due to Covid-19 was now 285.
The death in Tobago takes the total number on that island to four. It also reported 13 new cases on Sunday.
