SEVEN more people have died from Covid-19 on Friday in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1018) reported 345 new positive cases.
The ministry also stated that 137, 166 boosters have been administered while 50.3% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.
The 7 deaths included:

2 elderly men

3 elderly women; and
-
2 middle aged women
Four persons out of seven had multiple comorbidities, while two persons had one comorbidity each and the other had no known medical condition.
Some of which included diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, a history of strokes, pulmonary fibrosis, lupus and prostate cancer.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 13,704 or 82.7%, while 2,859 or 17.3% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021, to March 2, 2022.

January: 535 deaths, 19, 650 cases
February: 224 deaths, 16,218 cases
March 1: 4 deaths, 280 cases;
March 2: 5 deaths, 546 cases;
March 3: 5 deaths, 285 cases;
March 4: 7 deaths, 345 cases
