FIVE people died of Covid-19 on Thursday.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1,185), noted that there were 251 new positive cases.
The deaths were three elderly men and two elderly women.
Three persons had multiple comorbidities and two persons had one comorbidity.
The ministry also stated that 167, 881 boosters have been administered while 51.1% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.

Patients in the parallel healthcare system who were not fully vaccinated were 16, 129 or 79.9%, while 4, 062 or 20.1% were fully vaccinated based on data from July 22, 2021, to August 17, 2022.
