FIVE children are in hospital in the parallel healthcare system for Covid-19.
This was revealed by Emergency Medicine Specialist Paediatric Emergency Department at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex Dr Joanne Paul at the Ministry of Health virtual press conference on Wednesday.
She said children in hospital are aged one month, two months, two years, eight years and 12 years.
Dr Joanne Paul said since the pandemic started in Trinidad and Tobago, 342 children have been admitted into the parallel healthcare system with 18 deaths being recorded due to Covid-19.
