4 Venezuelans Found with Guns, Ammo, Drugs in Pasea

FOUR Venezuelan nationals have been arrested after being found with a firearm, ammunition and drugs on Wednesday.

Police reported that between 5 pm and 7 pm, an anti-crime exercise was conducted in the North Eastern Division and Northern Division by members of the North Eastern Division Task Force.

 Around 5.20 pm, officers went to Pasea Extension, Tunapuna and executed a search warrant for firearms and ammunition. Present at the house were the four Venezuelan  nationals, Luiving Andelfo Mora , 18, Guillermo Enrique Medina Mosqueda,  22,  Yorvi Jose Patino Flores,  20, and Gregori Andres Quijada Ochoa, 21.

A search was conducted of the house and the officers found 334.2 grams of cocaine and one  silver coloured Mini Uzi with a magazine and four rounds of .38 ammunition.

They were all arrested,  and enquiries are continuing by PC Cato.

The officers then proceeded to John Dulam Street, Aranguez where a search was conducted behind a floodlight attached to an electrical pole and two packets of marijuana with a weight of 65 grams was found and seized. No one was arrested. The exercise was incident-free and was spearheaded by Snr Supt Maharaj, Supt Ramjohn, ASP Pariman and Insp Bharath. Supervised by Sgt Martin, Cpl Daniel and Cpl Duncan also included members of the North Eastern Division Task Force.
