FOUR persons have died of Covid-19 on Saturday.
The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#1,124) reported 106 new positive cases.
The ministry also stated that 162,615 boosters have been administered while 50.9% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.
The four deaths included:
- 1 elderly man
- 2 elderly women; and
- 1 middle-aged woman.
Three out of four persons had multiple comorbidities while one person had no known comorbidities.
Some of the comorbidities included cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, lung disease, neurological disease and cancer.
