THREE men have been fined $10,000 each for breach of curfew.
They appeared virtually before a Mayaro Magistrate on Thursday.
Police reported that Leon Harper, 40, of Calmapass, Guayaguayare, Grantley Reefer, 62, of Plaisance Park, Pointe-A-Pierre and Steffon Beharry, 19, of St. Ann’s, Mayaro, were arrested by officers of the Eastern Division in Mayaro on Wednesday.
The men all pleaded guilty to the charges and were fined $10,000 each or in default serve three months in jail.
And the police continued to urge citizens to adhere to the Emergency Powers and Public Health Regulations adding that any information on possible breaches was welcomed.
