A 20-YEAR-OLD man was shot and killed on Monday night in Sangre Grande.
Police reports are that around 7.50 pm, residents of Robinson Lane, Damarie Hill, Guaico, Sangre Grande, reported hearing loud explosions.
Upon investigating they saw Nathaniel Pursue, 20, unemployed, of Damarie Hill running into a yard on the eastern side of the road where he collapsed.
He was subsequently found to be suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest.
Keston Stevens, 26, also of Damarie Hill was seen running along the same roadway after the loud explosions were heard and he collapsed on a driveway also on the eastern side of the road with apparent gunshot wounds to his neck and face.
Both victims were conveyed to the Sangre Grande Hospital in a private vehicle by residents.
However, Pursue was pronounced dead upon arrival. A report was made to the Sangre Grande Police by an anonymous informant. PC Abzal and WPC Caraby were the first responders.
And police also provided an update regarding Antonio Penco Reyes, 67 whose body was discovered on Monday at Victoria Square Port-of-Spain. An autopsy revealed his cause of death to be clogged arteries leading to and surrounding the heart.
