TWO men were shot dead in Champs Fleurs on Monday.
Police reports are that around 8.05 pm, officers from the Northern Division Task Force responded to a report of heavy gunfire at Upper Mendez Drive, in the vicinity of Hevron Heights Phase 3.
Upon arrival at the corner of Lemon Drive, they met first responding officers preparing to take one of the men with multiple gunshot wounds to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.
The man was shot in the chest, upper torso and back. He was pronounced dead just after 9 pm.
The second man was found dead on the road. The man with a rasta hairstyle, dark in complexion and heavy build, wearing a grey vest and light-coloured three-quarter pants is yet to be identified.
A silver Y11 Wagon was found about 30 feet away from the body of the second victim with bullet holes on the door.
Some 26 spent 9 mm shells, one fragment, one live 9mm ammunition, one projectile and two deformed projectiles were found at the scene.
