Hello,
We have not heard reporters ask the MOH about Lambda variant, which has overtaken Chile.
We have heard Dr. Richards dodge the question about the risks of vaccinated travellers coming into the country, no quarantine, but still able to transmit virus and variants if they caught it after the 72hr PCR test. Checking if they have cold like symptoms at the airport is mute, as they are vaccinated and more likely to be asymptomatic carriers.
Until the majority of population is vaccinated all inbound travellers should have some quarantine or isolation.
