THE Ministry of Health reports 17 more deaths due to Covid-19 over the past 24 hours in Trinidad and Tobago.

In its latest update (#768), it stated that the death toll due to Covid-19 was now 817.

The ministry also reported 129 new Covid-19 cases taken from samples during the period June 23 to June 26.

The ministry noted that the deaths included:

• 7 elderly men with comorbidities;
• 7 elderly women with comorbidities;
• 2 middle-ages men with comorbidities;
• 1 elderly man without comorbidities.

Out of the 401 people in hospital, the Health Ministry reported that 18 are in ICU with 39 in in HDU.
