COMMISSIONER of Police Gary Griffith, and the executive of the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) have extended condolences to the relatives, colleagues and friends of PC Anthony Nicholson who died on Friday.
The TTPS in a press release on Saturday stated that PC Nicholson was a member of the Guard Unit at the Police Administration Building, Port-of-Spain.
The TTPS stated, “He took in ill one week ago and was warded at the Couva-Multi-Training Health Facility until his death.
PC Nicholson started as a Special Reserve Officer at the Guard Unit in April 2003. He trained and became a regular member of the TTPS and continued his service at the Guard Unit.”
The Couva hospital is currently used to treat Covid-19 patients.
