SIXTEEN people have died on the second day of June.
In its latest update (#743), on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health stated that the death toll due to Covid-19 was now 523.
The ministry also reported 412 new cases taken during the period May 26 to June 1.
Additionally, over 100,000 persons have been vaccinated against the Covid-19 virus with at least one dose of either the AstraZeneca or Sinopharm vaccine.
