FOURTEEN people are reported to have died from Covid-19 on the first day of 2022.
This was revealed by the Ministry of Health in its first update (#956) of the New Year. It also reported 302 new cases taken from samples during the period December 29 to 31, 2021.
More than 2,700 people died from the coronavirus in 2021 with December 2021 being the deadliest month.
