TWELVE teams are part of the National League of Darts which kicked off on Tuesday at Kosmos Members Club, corner of Edward and New Streets in Port of Spain.
The Trinidad and Tobago Darts Association (TTDA) in a release on Thursday stated that all teams were at the opening.
There were regular darts players and new ones who were attracted by the TTDA’s recently concluded grab bag series, the release stated.
It stated that the league format is 501 with a few variations and teams play ten games and are awarded one point for each win.
The games are followed by a 701 mixed trio, two men’s doubles, one mixed double, four men’s singles, one lady’s singles and to round it all off a five-player 1001 match.
At the end of round one, Bullz I are the table toppers after a resounding 9-1 win over Top Shot.
Dartholics are sitting one point behind in second with a 8-2 victoy over Random Squad.
Newcomers Shanghai Bulls beat the experienced Pub House Pirates (2) 6-4.
The league continues every Tuesday at Komos.
