The Ministry of Health in its latest update (#981) also reported 680 new positive cases.
It stated that 203 fully vaccinated people have died due to Covid-19 as at January 26, 2022. There were 390 who died before vaccination started and 2,754 who passed away were not fully vaccinated.
The ministry also stated that 107,211 boosters have been administered while 49% of the population of Trinidad and Tobago is fully vaccinated.
