ELEVEN more people have passed away due to Covid-19, the Ministry of Health reported on Tuesday.
In its latest update (#896), the ministry also reported 294 new cases of the coronavirus taken from samples during the period October 29 to November 1.
The Covid-19 death toll was now 1,720.
The eleven deaths comprised six elderly men, one middle aged man and four elderly women.
Three of the people who passed away had no known comorbidities while the rest had conditions including cancer, high-blood pressure and diabetes. Two of them had one comorbidity either high-blood pressure or diabetes.
