POLICE seized 22.7 kilogrammes of Cannabis during an anti-crime exercise in Couva on Sunday.
Officers of the Central Division went to an abandoned structure at the end of Reservoir Road, Extension, Basta Hall and checks revealed five crocus bags each containing a quantity of dried high-grade cannabis with a total weight of 22.7kgs and an estimated street value of $1.25 million.
The exercise was coordinated by Snr Supt Simon, Supt Glodon, ASP Ablacksingh, Inspector Petti and supervised by Sgt Blackman and field operations carried out by Cpl Mohammed and included members of the Central Division Task Force.
