Murder Toll 501: 12-Year-Old Boy, Father Killed on Lady Chancellor

THE number of murders in Trinidad and Tobago for the year thus far has crossed 500.

This after two people were killed on La­dy Chan­cel­lor Hill on Fri­day evening.

They have been identified as Kevon Gill,12, and his father Clevon Gill.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports around 6.45 p.m. po­lice re­ceived a call about a white Nis­san Syl­phy parked at the bot­tom of the hill.

When police investigated they found two dead male oc­cu­pants in­side.

They suf­fered sev­er­al gun­shot wounds to the head and were found slumped in the front seats of the ve­hi­cle.

The bod­ies were dis­cov­ered by jog­gers who opened the ve­hi­cle af­ter they no­ticed the en­gine run­ning and the glass frost­ed.

The killings pushed the mur­der toll to 501.

There were 516 mur­ders in TT in 2018.
