MAJOR roadworks have been completed in Corinth Hills, San Fernando.
Newly-elected Member of Parliament for San Fernando East Brian Manning posted on his Facebook page recently thanking the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) for being responsible for the repairs.
The repair works began right after Manning officially took up duties as MP following the August 10 election.
He wrote, “Thank you to the HDC for ensuring that the residents of Corinth Hills enjoy smooth roads as the paving of Ninus and Agia Lane begins. Ninus Lane is used as a major thoroughfare connecting motorists to the Solomon Hochoy Highway and has undergone significant wear and tear as a result. This work is definitely welcomed by residents and other San Fernando East motorists. We are getting the job done!”
Jusamco was the contractor for the project that also took place in several other areas of the community that is located just off the Solomon Hochoy Highway in the vicinity of popular shopping mall C3.
And in other areas of the San Fernando East constituency, clean-up drives are also taking place.
